Mod Op Taps AI Adoption Strategist Patty Parobek to Lead New AI Practice Group

As Vice President of AI and Machine Learning Transformation,
Patty will drive Mod Op’s efforts to maximize value and scalability of AI-enabled solutions.

New York, NY – August 8, 2024Mod Op, a full-service digital marketing agency driving client growth through creativity, data science, and innovation, today announced the addition of Patty Parobek as Vice President of AI and Machine Learning (ML) Transformational Change. Parobek, a seasoned expert in digital strategy, SEO, and change management, returns to Mod Op to lead the company’s newly formed AI practice group.

Reporting directly to Mod Op CTO, Tessa Burg, Parobek will oversee the AI practice group and collaborate with the executive team to redefine how creative, advertising, and marketing work is executed. Parobek will also work closely with Mod Op’s AI Council to ensure responsible development and evaluation of AI tools.

“We’re making great strides defining ourselves as the agency of the future,” said Eric J. Bertrand, CEO of Mod Op. “Our AI practice group is a testament to our leadership in the digital marketing space. By continuously improving our capabilities and offerings, and scaling transformation, we’re setting ourselves apart from our competitors in never-before-seen ways.”

Dedicated to transforming how work gets done, Mod Op’s AI practice group builds upon the agency’s AI Council, launched earlier this year. As new AI solutions are introduced to the agency, the AI practice group collaborates across the organization to develop training, determine the highest-value use cases, and measure the impact of implementation. From there, feedback and data from these efforts flows back to the AI Council, creating a continuous loop of innovation and improvement.

“As someone drawn to the vision of pairing creativity with technology to create unique advantages, the opportunity to boomerang back to this innovative company just made sense,” said Parobek. “Mod Op’s commitment to responsible AI development, with a focus on governance, ethics, and transparency, aligns perfectly with my values and I’m eager to collaborate with the agency’s talented team and drive initiatives that will set us apart from the competition. I look forward to leading the transformation that will redefine marketing in this new era of work.”

Parobek brings a unique blend of marketing and technology experience to Mod Op’s AI practice group. In her most recent role as Senior Director of AI Adoption at Cleveland-based digital marketing agency Fathom, she led the company’s AI integration efforts, achieving widespread adoption within eight months. Prior roles include Vice President of Digital & Growth Strategy at Tenlo, acquired by Mod Op in 2022, where she pioneered integrated marketing strategies, emphasizing digital channels and AI-driven solutions, and various marketing roles at American Greetings.

Mod Op is based in Miami, and has offices in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Portland, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Panama City, Panama, Cleveland, Calgary and Toronto, Canada. The agency delivers creative and strategic solutions for leading brands like Nestlé, Duracell, ExxonMobil, VTech® and LeapFrog ®, Church & Dwight, Baha Mar, and more.
